GOHS Grad Night

Herff Jones together with Grand Oaks High School College and Career Center is hosting GOHS Grad Night on Wednesday, November 10, at 5:30 pm, at GOHS. This event will include:

1. A financial aid information presentation by Jeremy Brown – an admissions counselor and postsecondary advisor for Grand Canyon University
2. A come-and-go style help session in classrooms with computers available for assistance with filing
   your FAFSA/TASFA
3. Sizing graduation cap and gown and ordering assistance for Herff Jones
4. A food truck for dinner convenience

It is a perfect blend of assistance with necessary items for graduation – as we are all aware that the FAFSA/TASFA/Opt-Out is now a requirement graduation in the state of Texas. As a reminder, GOHS has set a priority deadline of December 15 with a raffle drawing incentive for those students and families that complete this graduation requirement now. Any student who places their order and makes a deposit of $70 or more will be given a discount!

The GOHS College and Career Center will be assisting families who would like help completing their FAFSA/TASFA. You will need your personal information (social security number, birthday, etc.), 2020 tax return information and parent/guardian information (birthday, social security number, etc.). Jeremy Brown with Grand Canyon University will present helpful information regarding the financial aid process
in the auditorium at 6 pm.
