Students in the GO Building trades classes competed in the Construction Industry Education Foundation (CIEF) Design Build Competition, a program that promotes career awareness in the construction industry among high school students by challenging them to design and build a structure for an end user in the community.
GO received the Architectural Award for their work. Additionally, the students would like to thank Momentum Exterior Systems, LLC for their tremendous support which allowed our students the opportunity to learn and grow. Let's GO!

A huge CONGRATULATIONS to Lexi Hendrix for capturing the first state championship in Grand Oaks Powerlifting history! Lexi dominated the competition and finished as the #1 ranked lifter in the state in her weight class. This marks not only a milestone for our school but also the first-ever girls' state champion in district history! To top it off, the Lady Grizzlies finished the season as the #1 ranked team in Houston!
We are beyond proud of Lexi and the entire team for their incredible hard work, dedication, and record-breaking season!
